WHERE IN THE WORD ARE YOU? — MONEY & MATERIAL THINGS

It’s easy to trust what we can see…
Money in the bank.
A steady income.
A comfortable life.

It feels safe.
It feels secure.
It feels… in control.

But slowly, without even realizing it…we begin to depend on it.

Chasing success.
Comparing what we have to others.
Letting finances determine our peace.

But what are you really trusting in?

👉 Where in the Word are you?

📖 Scripture

“No one can serve two masters…
You cannot serve both God and money.” Matthew 6:24

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things will be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

✨ What God Says

Money isn’t the problem…but where your trust is—that matters.

Because whatever you depend on…becomes what you serve.

God never asked you to find peace in provision.
He asked you to find peace in Him. Provision comes and goes. But He remains.

💭 Reflection

What brings you peace right now?

Is it your finances…or your faith?

What happens to your peacewhen money feels uncertain?

Have you placed more trust in what you can see…than in the God you can’t?

💬 Call to Action

👉 Today, shift your trust.

📖 Deeper relection:

🔑 Theme: Trust vs Dependence

1. The Warning

📖 Matthew 6:24
👉 You can’t serve both

  • What competes with God in your life?
  • Where is your loyalty divided?

2. The Root Issue

📖 Matthew 6:21
“Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

  • What do you value most?
  • What do you think about most?

📖 Matthew 6:33
👉 Seek God FIRST

  • Not after finances are stable
  • Not after life feels secure
  • FIRST

4. The Promise

📖 Philippians 4:19
“God will supply all your needs…”

  • God is your provider—not your paycheck

🔥 Closing Thought:

Money can support your life…but only God can sustain your soul.
